How can I book with you?
Booking a tour or excursion with us could not be quicker or easier! Just telephone us on 01245 222477 to check availability.
Is my money safe with you?
All passengers booking a coach holiday with C & J Coach Tours are fully insured for all monies paid to us in the unlikely event of the insolvency of the company.
Is the price shown per person?
Yes. The price shown for each tour and excursion is PER PERSON, not per room or per couple.
Are there any extras to pay?
With C & J Tours there are no nasty hidden extras. On our tours the excursions as outlined in the itineraries are included in the price of your holiday. Many of our day excursions include entrance fees, guided tours, meals boat and train trips.
Do I have to pay a single room supplement if I am a single traveller?
No. Where possible on all our tours we offer single occupancy at no extra cost. With only a limited number of single rooms available on each tour, early booking is essential as once our single room allocation has been sold, a single supplement charge may apply.
How much deposit do I pay?
At the time of booking you will need to pay a non-refundable deposit £50.00 per person for UK holidays and £60.00 per person for European holidays. Travel insurance can be added as an optional extra. Please ask for more details.
Will you send me a reminder when my balance is due?
No. Your balance due date is printed on your Confirmation. Balance payments for tours are due usually within 8 weeks of the departure date. For excursions payment can be made at the time of booking, otherwise payment is due no less than 4 weeks prior to departure.
What is my luggage allowance?
Your attention is drawn to our limited luggage space and that we have to lift your luggage by hand. Therefore only a maximum weight of 18kg per case is allowed. We suggest one medium sized suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per person. On tours with an overnight stop the hand luggage can be replaced by an overnight bag. For maximum clothing protection we recommend moulded suitcases.
Is there any overnight travel on your tours?
No, we do not travel overnight. Where required our holidays include overnight accommodation.
Does your coach have facilities?
Our coach is to the highest standard with climate controlled heating & air conditioning; toilet and hot/cold drink facilities; USB charging points and WiFi.
Where do you pick up?
On our tours and excursions we aim to provide boarding points that are convenient for the majority of our passengers whilst avoiding an over long pick up route. PLUS there is no waiting around at an interchange point nor is there a change of coach. See our Coach Pick Up Points page or our brochure for details. For groups we can meet you at a convenient point for you.
Do you organise trips/breaks for groups?
We can organise coach tours and day excursions in the UK or Europe for groups. We will tailor make the tour or excursion to suit your specific needs, organise theatre tickets, guides, refreshments. Call us (01245 222477) or e-mail us (tinacandjtours@aol.com) now to discuss your requirements or to get a quote.
Do you sell Gift Vouchers?
Yes. Gift Vouchers are available in any denomination and are redeemable against the cost of any of our day excursions or tours.
Do I need to take out travel Insurance?
C & J Tours NO longer offer Travel Insurance on our holidays. Travel Insurance is compulsory on all European holidays (including Jersey & any holiday travelling to the Republic of Ireland). Although not compulsory on our UK holidays it is strongly recommended and it is compulsory on holidays to the Isle of Man. We advise customers to take out a travel insurance to cover medical and repatriation costs, personal injury, loss of luggage and cancellation charges. See also the section “What about COVID-19?” in our Terms of Business. If you do not have travel insurance cover and require our assistance during your holiday, we reserve the right to reclaim from you any medical repatriation or other expenses which we may incur, on your behalf, which would otherwise have been met by an insurer. Please note that it your responsibility to be in procession of the correct travel insurance documentation when you travel, which should include details of the insurer, the policy number (where applicable) and the name and contact number of the emergency medical assistance service.
